Packaged skidded O2 injection system for a single dairy digester, featuring an integrated compressor, dryer, filters, and AirSep oxygen generator on one skid.
The Challenge
Aemetis needed an H2S reduction system for their Borba Dairy covered lagoon digester in Hilmar, California. The system needed to be compact, easy to install, and scalable — the initial design called for 2 SCFM but the dairy's biogas production required a larger capacity before installation was complete.
Our Approach
EFI designed a fully packaged skid system including compressor, oil/water separator, dryer, filters, AirSep oxygen generator, receivers, tubing, and single-point power panel. When biogas volumes proved higher than initially estimated, EFI executed Change Order #1 to upgrade from 2 SCFM to 3 SCFM O2 generator capacity — a 50% increase handled with minimal schedule impact.
