Case Study
Textured HDPE lagoon liner for a farm building project pond, featuring modified slope design to conceal liner material.
The Challenge
Alpine Farms in Natural Bridge Station, Virginia needed new pond liner construction for the complete main house and ancillary building project. The pond required a durable liner that would maintain a permanent water elevation while remaining aesthetically concealed from view.
Our Approach
EFI furnished and installed a 40 mil textured HDPE liner on the 70,500 SF lagoon. The pond featured a modified top-of-slope anchor trench design so no liner material would be exposed. Decorative plantings were placed around the pond to complement the permanent water elevation.
Outcomes
“The modified anchor trench design means you can't see the liner at all. The pond looks completely natural with the decorative plantings around it.”
