The Challenge
Problem
Fisher & Arnold, Inc. designed the new Arlington wastewater treatment plant with a 328,000-square-foot sludge storage lagoon. The lagoon received sludge from the SBR building and used aerators for treatment. The design specified a 60 mil textured HDPE liner.
Our Approach
Solution
Environmental Fabrics, Inc. performed the geomembrane installation for the lagoon. The original EFI case history, dated September 2006, records 328,000 square feet of 60 mil textured HDPE. Work began in late summer and was completed on schedule.
