O2 injection system added as a change order to an existing liner and cover installation project, including O2 skid, mixer control panels, and precision flow measurement.
The Challenge
The Oliveira Dairy covered lagoon digester project was already underway for liner and cover installation when the need for H2S reduction became apparent. Adding O2 injection to an active construction site required careful coordination with the ongoing liner and cover work, plus integration of mixer controls for optimal oxygen distribution.
Our Approach
EFI added the O2 system as Change Order #2 to the existing project (Job 23788), including an O2 skid, mixer control panels, rotameters for precision flow measurement, and an O2 flow meter box. The injection point locations were designed to work with the existing covered lagoon geometry and mixer placement for maximum contact time between oxygen and the biogas-producing liquid.
