The Challenge
Pilgrim's Mt. Pleasant's poultry processing facility in Mt. Pleasant, TX generated significant organic waste streams producing methane-rich biogas. The facility needed to address environmental compliance requirements while controlling odor and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from wastewater treatment systems.
Our Approach
EFI designed and installed a complete floating cover and liner system at the Pilgrim's Mt. Pleasant facility. The installation included HDPE geomembrane liner for secondary containment and a floating cover system for gas collection and odor control. The system was engineered for long-term durability and minimal maintenance requirements.
