The Challenge
Brown Packing's meat packing facility in South Carolina generated high-BOD wastewater requiring anaerobic treatment. Uncontrolled biogas emissions from lagoons created compliance risk and odor complaints, demanding a robust containment and management system.
Our Approach
EFI designed and installed a complete floating cover and liner system at the Brown Packing facility. The installation included HDPE geomembrane liner for secondary containment and a floating cover system for gas collection and odor control. The system was engineered for long-term durability and minimal maintenance requirements.
