Get to the liquid or gas under a sealed cover, in any pipe size.

A sample and access port gives operators a sealed, repeatable way to reach the liquid or headspace gas beneath a floating or gas-tight cover without cutting into the membrane. The port stem is fabricated from HDPE and extrusion-welded to a base plate that bonds directly to the cover material for a leak-tight penetration.

The top is built to fit how you work: a bolted flange lid for a fully sealed closure, or a removable rubber cap for quick, tool-free sampling. Because every port is fabricated to order at the EFI shop in Gaston, South Carolina, it can be made in any standard pipe size and matched to your cover thickness and material.

The port is welded to an HDPE base plate that is bonded to the cover membrane, creating a continuous, leak-tight penetration rather than a mechanical clamp through the material. This keeps a gas-tight or floating cover sealed around the port.

A bolted flange lid gives a fully sealed, gas-tight closure for long-term or pressurized service. A removable rubber cap is faster for frequent, routine sampling where a hand-tight seal is enough. You can order either, and mix both across a set of ports.
