Cover Accessories & Ports
Take an HDPE cover penetration to a threaded stainless connection.
Transition ports solve the problem of connecting threaded pipe, instrumentation, or hose to an HDPE cover. The lower body is HDPE, welded to a base plate that bonds to the cover, and the upper end transitions to a stainless steel male or female NPT fitting so you can thread standard hardware straight onto the cover penetration.
The stainless section is available in 304 or 316 for corrosive and biogas service, and the transition is fabricated to order in a range of NPT sizes. This is the clean way to bring a sensor, valve, hose barb, or piping run through a sealed cover without improvised adapters.
