Moisture Traps

Keep condensate out of the gas line between the cover and your equipment.

Biogas leaves a covered lagoon or digester warm and saturated with water vapor. As it cools in the collection line, that water condenses and settles at low points, where it restricts gas flow and can send liquid toward blowers, flares, and downstream equipment. A moisture trap gives that condensate a controlled low point to collect instead of pooling in the gas line.

Each trap is fabricated from welded HDPE pipe and fittings at the EFI shop in Gaston, South Carolina. Traps are made to order in various sizes, in standard and custom configurations, with the orientation set to match your line layout.
